Our Story So Far
Currently on book 5 of the Once Upon A Business story, can't wait to see you in the next chapter ;)

August 2019
Founded As "Kasai Marketing"
Our CEO Danyal started the company when he was 19 with the intent of learning everything needed to execute whatever business idea he wanted, starting with marketing.
May 2020
Rebranded To "RAIJU Digital"
After interning at a few companies and landing some clients, we found our niche is chatbot development and Facebook Messenger campaigns. We rebranded with a full design system to RAIJU Digital (named after Dan's preferred username in games "Raiju") due to the desire for something designed by a professional, not a 19 year old slapping things together in Canva lol.

March 2022
Pivoted To "Once Upon A Business"
We realized pretty quickly that chatbots were simply a small part of a much bigger strategy and we started getting more diverse marketing work like ads, lead gen, and social media. We also had explosive growth in the system implementation & automation service line leading us to want to rebrand again to something more all encompassing. While RAIJU Digital sounded cool, a "Raiju" is a mythical Japanese thunder beast and well, any wolf related design just looked... cringey so we pivoted to "Once Upon a Business".
April 2023
Paused To Focus On Fractional CMO/COO Services
We effectively closed shop on the outside to focus on fractional CMO/COO work we were getting. We knew it wasn't the best business decision but we went ahead anyways because it the right decision for the team since it was more aligned with the teams monetary goals. It's not about the idea or business, its about how they serve you goals and no ones goals is based on a single idea or business.

May 2025
Going Public Again As The One Stop Shop For SMBs
New ideas, new skills, new team members, new goals. We finished our contracts and each team member has their own business idea they want to launch due to their new found skills and insights. OUAB is now our launch pad for funding our side quests and testing strategies.
